We have two exciting opportunities:

  • Member Services Officer in our Hastings Branch
  • Member Services Officer in our Contact Centre (Hastings Office)

 

 About the Member Services Officer (Hastings Branch) role:

  • Be the face of Unity, delivering exceptional customer service face-to-face and over the phone by assisting Kiwis with their everyday financial needs and goals.
  • A “normal” day in our branches would see you processing cash withdrawals, deposits, and transfers, opening accounts, and answering queries regarding Unity’s products and services, among other tasks. Key is being able to assist our members with their banking needs.
  • Hours of work will cover 40 hours per week between the hours of 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday-Friday.
  • You’ll be joining a close-knit team who like to have fun while serving our members!

 

 About the Member Services Officer (Contact Centre) role:

  • Delivering outstanding customer service by assisting our members with their everyday financial needs.
  • Being the voice of Unity, helping our members nationwide over the phone.
  • Normal hours of work will cover 40 hours per week rostered between the hours of 8:00am – 6:00pm, Monday-Friday.

 

About you

  • Experience in a customer service role.
  • Ideally, experience in banking industry, including everyday banking and lending.
  • Passion for helping people and the community.
  • Can-do, positive attitude.
  • Resilient and ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Quick learner who is great at problem-solving.
